What to Expect During our Video Shoot (and Why There’s No Need to Worry)
So, you heard there's a video crew coming into the office this week. Before your heart rate spikes and your palms get sweaty, let’s break down what that actually means for you. (Hint: there’s no need to call in sick on shoot day, we promise!)
If we haven’t met yet: we’re RevelForms Video. A video production and software company specializing in making remarkable business video in a fun, enjoyable and comfortable way for our clients.
Why Video?
Video is powerful. It gives your business personality, helps customers understand who you are, and shows why you matter in a personalized, engaging way. With all this talk about AI, we’re placing a bet on people. In the end: the people of your business are the brand.
RevelForms takes video a step further by creating tailored experiences that are personal, professional, and impactful, embedding form software directly into your videos.

When we come in to shoot video, our goal isn’t just to help your business stand out in a crowded marketing space; it’s to get to know you, your team, and what makes your company unique. Building that connection helps us create content that feels authentic and puts your best foot forward. As cliché as it may sound, it still holds true: your people are your superpower.
What Shoot Day Looks Like
Now you know why a film crew is coming in, but you might still be wondering what role you're expected to play. Don’t worry, we’re not showing up with a film slate to yell “Action!” or hand you a hot mic.
The Schedule
Here’s what to expect: our team (a videographer and producer) will arrive with camera gear and a plan. The first hour is dedicated to introductions and setup. Before the shoot day, we’ll coordinate a schedule for interviews. Our goal is to take no more than 30 minutes of any one employee’s time. We know you’re busy, and the last thing we want is to pull you away from your work all day. That won’t happen.
In short, here’s what your time will include:
- Casual interview checking lighting and microphone
- A supportive team guiding you every step of the way
Your Time On Camera
We’ll rotate through short interviews, one person at a time, in front of the camera. This is informal. Nothing makes a video feel flatter than a rehearsed script, we’re not that kind of company. Each interview is a natural conversation with our producer and videographer. We film everything, which means we can cut anything. So don’t worry about “ums,” sneezes, or adjusting your hair, they’re easy edits on our end.

We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable. Our producer will be right there with you, keeping things light and easy so the conversation flows naturally. This is all about capturing the real you, with moments that feel genuine to who you are.
What's B-Roll?
The last thing to expect is the filming of B-roll, which will happen during each employee’s time. B-roll is the extra footage that supports the main video—shots of your office, your product or service, and people interacting in your space. It adds depth and interest, so the final result isn’t just a single talking head from start to finish. For you, this might look like walking down a hallway or chatting with the producer in your office, simple and natural moments that will be overlaid with your interview.

That’s a Wrap
So, what do we need from you on shoot day? Just you, being you. No preparation required, no special outfit needed. We're here to highlight who you are and what makes your team unique in a way that feels real and effortless. Humanizing your brand is a key factor in building meaningful connections with your audience. Take a breath, we’ve got it from here.
